What is Dify?
Dify is an open-source LLMOps platform for building production GenAI apps: a visual agentic workflow builder, a built-in RAG knowledge base, agents, broad model support and observability. You can self-host the Community Edition for free (full data control) or use Dify Cloud, the managed SaaS, from a free Sandbox up to Professional ($59/workspace/mo) and Team ($159). With 147k+ GitHub stars it is one of the most popular open-source AI builders. Key nuance for EU teams: Dify Cloud does not guarantee EU data residency (its policy lists China and the US as processing locations), so self-hosting on your own EU infrastructure is the GDPR-clean path.
